You will work alongside the provider to make sure our patients are taken care of, and the clinic runs smoothly! You will be the first point of patient care within the clinic. You will room and prepare patients according to clinic specific checklists or procedures. This role combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, ensuring safe administration of specialty medications while educating and empowering patients and caregivers. Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license, ability to drive a car, and an insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices. Meets MHH established requirements for proof of health status. Ability to physically move, position and transfer clients up to 200# utilizing good body mechanics, lifting techniques and/or assistive devices. Ability to travel to and from client’s homes in own transportation under various weather conditions and patient environments. Expert health assessment, organizational and interpersonal skills. Monitors contract compliance and alerts the Manager of Strategic Sourcing and the Director of Supply Chain of potential contract compliance issues. Identifies substitute products to address back orders or alternative suppliers for the same OEM product. This involves identifying items that do not have a substitute, obtaining substitute samples and pricing, and working with suppliers, purchasing, Trinity, and the GPO. Manages VOICE reports relating to clinical supplies. Coordinates NMSA’s Value Analysis activities with appropriate Trinity Health sourcing personnel/activities. Participates on Trinity Health teams as necessary. Provides input to med/surg category budgeting for the MHC system. Functions as resource to MHC hospitals and clinics for specified categories. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications What’s Required Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan, with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Five (5) years of clinical experience and sufficient experience with or aptitude for business analysis and situations to effectively and efficiently perform business analyses and lead value analysis teams created to accomplish product review, standardization, and product conversion. Strong computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
