The Medical Assistant provides professional clinical care for patients following established standards and practices. Prepares patients during office visits and assists patients and family members before, during and after a doctor’s visit. Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment/procedures, examinations, and testing of patients. Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and all other patient care areas per established policies and procedures. Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint. Measure, record, and document vital signs. Where applicable, perform phlebotomy, injections and other specimen collection per established policies and procedures as directed by the provider. Educate patients by providing information and instructions as directed by the provider. Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Sterilize medical instruments per established standards and procedures. Relay messages from patients and front office staff to providers. Represent the office in a professional manner. Treat all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner. Participate in team activities and professional development activities. Attend required meetings. Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values. Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. (FL Only) Certified Medical Assistant preferred OR the ability to obtain the certification within the first 120 days of employment. To be eligible for employment and to obtain an MA certification, you must be a graduate of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program OR served in the Armed Forces as a Medical Technician with honorable discharge. Current CPR and/or BLS certification preferred OR the ability to obtain the certification within 30 days of employment via Women’s Care training. Experience working in OBGYN or Primary Care a plus. Paradigm is seeking a compassionate and organized LPN Post-Acute Care Coordinator to support injured workers through the coordination of post-acute care services. In this fully remote role, you'll collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and insurance professionals to facilitate care transitions, coordinate services, and ensure positive outcomes for injured workers. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented nurse who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making a meaningful impact in the recovery journey of injured workers. This is a fully remote, full-time position working Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM Eastern Time . The hourly pay range is $28.00 to $30.00. Responsibilities: Process referrals for injured workers for the Post-Acute Care Department including obtaining all clinical information needed from hospitals, physicians, case managers, etc. Provide staffing for Post-Acute Care referrals. Ensure appropriate communication is delivered on a consistent basis with clients regarding progress of their injured workers. Accurately addresses questions and inquiries from Adjusters, Case Managers, Providers, and Injured Workers in a timely, professional manner. Obtain and review orders received. Collaborate with client case managers and insurance carriers case managers to assist in placing injured workers in appropriate facilities for care. Identify and contact providers both in network and out of network. Follow up with healthcare facilities and providers to monitor progress and regularly obtain medical notes as needed. Coordinate discharges with applicable facilities. Facilitate any other services the injured worker may need post discharge. Actively monitor the customer experience, quickly addressing and resolving any issues to maintain Rowan's clinical piercing standards. Maintain a sterile and aseptic environment at the nurse station and on the procedure tray, ensuring all surfaces, instruments, and supplies are clean and properly sanitized to prevent contamination and promote customer safety. Use your expert knowledge of skin care and infection control and prevention to provide professional and personalized piercing services. Studio Support: Collaborate with the Studio Manager to keep operations running smoothly and foster a joyful, celebratory atmosphere. Flexibility to fill shifts as needed. May mentor and train new nurses to uphold Rowan's Clinical Piercing Standards, including shadowing piercing services and observing customer interactions. Stay attentive to anything that could impact the customer experience, and quickly report any issues to management while collaborating to resolve them. Inventory and Supplies: Ensure all piercing stations, including the nurse cart, mayo stand, and nurse nook, are always stocked with the necessary supplies and ready for any customer needs. Studio Operations: Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines closely to ensure a sanitary and safe piercing experience. Sales: Ensure high-quality performance to support key studio metrics, including revenue growth, efficiency in piercing services (e.g., piercings per hour), increasing average order value, and boosting sales. Educate customers on Rowan After Care, and the benefits of bringing home an extra pair of hypoallergenic, non-piercing jewelry to promote healing. What you bring to the table: Required Certifications: Active RN or LPN/LVN License.
