Overnight Caregiver - Sunday Shift - Northwest Dallas Location: Northwest Dallas near University Park Pay: $15.00 per hour Schedule: Sunday, 6:45 PM–7:00 AM Shift Length: Approximately 12 hours Position Type: Part-Time / PRN Immediate opening available Harmony At Home Senior Care is adding an overnight caregiver for a recurring Sunday client assignment in Northwest Dallas near the University Park area. This position is ideal for a caregiver specifically interested in a long overnight shift with the opportunity to request additional work throughout the week. The primary position is for Sunday nights from 6:45 PM until 7:00 AM Monday morning . Sunday Overnight Assignment The regular schedule for this client is: Sunday: 6:45 PM–7:00 AM Northwest Dallas / University Park Area $15.00 per hour The caregiver assigned to this client must be able to consistently work the entire overnight shift and have dependable transportation to the Northwest Dallas area. Additional Hours Are Available Need more than one shift per week? Harmony At Home Senior Care serves multiple clients throughout the Dallas area, and additional schedules and hours with other clients are available upon request . Caregivers can provide their complete weekly availability to our Scheduling Team to be considered for additional daytime, evening, overnight, weekday, or weekend assignments. Additional assignments are offered separately and vary based on current client needs, location, caregiver qualifications, schedule, and availability. Higher-Paying Urgent Coverage Opportunities Caregivers may also have opportunities to pick up urgent coverage shifts in addition to their regular client schedules. Our agency frequently offers increased rates for urgent or difficult-to-fill shifts, commonly ranging from $16.00–$20.00 per hour . These increased rates are specific to qualifying shifts when offered. They are not guaranteed and do not change the regular $15.00 per hour rate for this Sunday overnight assignment. Overnight Caregiver Duties The selected caregiver will provide non-medical in-home support according to the client's individual plan of care. Responsibilities may include: Overnight companionship and supervision Assistance with personal care and activities of daily living Toileting and hygiene assistance Mobility and transfer assistance Assistance with bedtime and morning routines Meal or snack preparation Medication reminders Maintaining a safe environment throughout the shift Light housekeeping related to client care Monitoring for changes or concerns and reporting them appropriately Completing required shift documentation Specific responsibilities will be reviewed based on the client's established care plan. What We Need From Our Caregivers Reliability is especially important for overnight assignments. Applicants should: Be available every Sunday from 6:45 PM through 7:00 AM Monday Be comfortable remaining awake and attentive as required by the client's care plan Have reliable personal transportation Have a valid driver's license Be able to reliably commute to Northwest Dallas near University Park Maintain professional boundaries and communication Follow client care instructions and agency procedures Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality Complete all required onboarding and training Previous caregiving experience is preferred, including experience in home care, senior care, personal care, CNA, HHA, PCA, assisted living, memory care, overnight care, or similar settings. Relevant personal caregiving experience may also be considered.
