Overview JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation, provided to the women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages of the childbirth process. Minimum Requirements Graduation from an accredited LVN school, coupled with a current LVN license issued by the State of California Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience practicing as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Experience and knowledge regarding the physical, mental, and social needs of the patients are highly desirable. At least one year of working with a frail or elderly population Valid California driver’s license with a good driving record. A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
