Assesses residents/clients upon admission and periodically as conditions change Performs rounds to evaluate patient condition Provides or assists with the delivery of direct patient care when indicated, including activities of daily living, meal assistance, medication and treatment administration, and leisure activities when indicated Obtains and implements Physician Orders, checking for accuracy and completeness Communicates between shifts regarding changes in resident/patient condition Provides clinical assessment to MD/NPs on call for quality outcomes delivered to patients Make daily rounds of the Nursing Services Department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
