Specialized Care Support: Provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs, including assistance with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs). Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely medication records and documentation, including reporting any adverse reactions or medication errors to the supervising nurse. Resident Monitoring: Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition related to medication, notifying the healthcare team of any concerns or changes in their health status. Medication Storage & Handling: Ensure medications are stored safely and securely in compliance with state regulations and facility policies. Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for residents. Compliance & Safety: Follow all regulations, guidelines, and protocols for medication administration and safety to ensure the highest standard of care. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred State certification as a Medication Aide preferred, on-the-job training available.
