Summary Under the direction of the Patient Care Unit Director, the Nurse Manager has 24 X 7 responsibility for operational leadership and management of the patient care unit. He/she is responsible for team and individual development, utilization of human, technical and material resources and quality improvement activities at the unit and organization level.
