Position Summary (CMA) Under the direction of the physician, Charge RN or Manager performs direct clinical activities in a courteous, caring and respectful manner. In this role, the successful candidate under the direction of a licensed professional nurse can scrub on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room and assist the physician in procedural areas. Provides On-call (where applicable) coverage proficiently. Care of Specimens In collaboration with the Registered nurse, ensures specimens are appropriately identified, labeled.
