Desired Skills & Experience: Current RN license and eligibility to practice in the state Nursing experience in pediatric, school health, or community settings strongly preferred Familiarity with conducting health screenings (height, weight, vision, hearing, scoliosis) and interpreting results Ability to manage routine and emergency care independently, following the Nurse Practice Act Excellent communication and organizational abilities Comfort traveling between multiple school locations Key Responsibilities: Perform specialized nursing procedures in compliance with regulations Conduct initial health screenings and coordinate follow-ups and referrals for further medical evaluation Respond swiftly to emergencies, administering urgent care as needed Maintain accurate immunization and communicable disease records; uphold state legal requirements Order and manage medical supplies to keep clinics running smoothly Deliver routine healthcare and respond to daily student and staff needs Administer medications safely with appropriate documentation and permissions Create a positive impact on students’ lives through expert nursing care and school-wide health education.
