The unit features 13 pre-op rooms and 19 PACU bays, managing a high-volume daily average of approximately 40 surgical cases, 15 GI procedures, and 30 pain management cases. You will be cross-trained to work in both pre-op and PACU, with the expectation to float between these areas to ensure consistent coverage for our patients. Your responsibilities include the full scope of care: performing pre-op calls and Pre-Admission Testing (PATs), facilitating patient transports, and managing clinical recovery for both surgery and GI patients. You will be responsible for recovering both Phase I and Phase II patients in a unified setting, ensuring seamless care transitions throughout the perioperative and procedural process.
