This initial phase is crucial in stabilizing clients physically and emotionally, setting the stage for lasting recovery. The Nurse Practitioner provides medical and/or psychiatric evaluation, assessment, medication management, care coordination, and ongoing treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services. This role collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment teams and internal and external healthcare providers to support high-quality, person-centered care in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and professional practice standards. Address: 420 Supreme Ct, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302 Shift: (In-Person) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday - 12 hour shifts - 7:00am - 7:00pm or 8:00am - 8:00pm - On-Call via phone or virtually Pay: (The pay range depends on relevant experience, is a plus /FNP/CRNP) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Complete history and physical assessments, evaluations, reassessments, and other clinical documentation as required. Review laboratory results, monitor blood levels, review physician orders, and support ongoing medical and medication management needs. Provide medication management services, including psychotropic medication management where applicable based on licensure and scope of practice. Diagnose and treat medical and/or psychiatric conditions in accordance with scope of practice and applicable regulations. Coordinate client care with internal and external healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, psychiatrists, specialists, pharmacies, and other treatment providers as appropriate. Support discharge planning and continuity of care efforts, including medication coordination and aftercare recommendations. Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support cost-effective medication management and completion of medication prior authorizations when needed. Provide education and clinical support to staff regarding medical, psychiatric, behavioral health, and medication-related concerns as appropriate. Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical review meetings, peer review processes, and departmental meetings as required. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in accordance with CARF standards, licensing requirements, payer requirements, and organizational policies. Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information. Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and a ccreditation/licensing entities. Required Qualifications Education, Licensure, & Experience: Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner/CRNP license in the state of PA (Pennsylvania) required (Must hold either an FNP + Family Practice license OR a CRNP + Family Practice license) DEA registration required or eligible to obtain if prescriptive authority applies Facilities with specific populations may prefer candidates with specialized backgrounds, including family practice, psychiatry, substance use disorder treatment, and/or co-occurring disorders Board Certification preferred Strong background in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, and co-occurring disorders preferred Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Work with Program Director to ensure that nursing staffing needs are met and nurses understand their scope of practice as it relates to their individual licensures. Requirements: Requires valid RN license in the state of practice 3 or more years of experience supervising medical staff preferred 2 to 4 years of experience working with substance use / psychiatric demographic in residential or inpatient setting preferred.
