JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will support and collaborate with the Observation Unit/Float Pool Leadership Team and the Department of Professional Development and Nursing Excellence to provide a framework of services that promote the growth and development of nursing within Griffin Health Services. The CNE will assist with orientation and onboarding of all nursing staff, including Student Nurse Interns. The CNE will develop and implement relevant competencies and in-service programs and collaborate with nursing leadership team in identifying areas in which education is necessary, including assisting staff with unit-specific processes, policies, procedures, workflows, documentation, and other organizational practices to promote safe, consistent, and effective patient care. The CNE will also provide ongoing education, support, and resources to Float Pool staff working throughout various in-patient units within the organization. Description The Medical Assistant II provides clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Focus of tasks include basic rooming of patient, EKGs, Point of Care Testing, EPIC documentation. In addition to general experience, the MA II should have at least 2+ years experience in a specialized area such as phlebotomy, pulmonary testing, surgery or cardiology.
