How you make a difference The Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse(s), directs and guides patient teaching and activities that commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies. Key Responsibilities Assist in the assessment and planning of individual treatment programs for patients, consulting with relevant staff members as needed. Implement individualized treatment programs as directed by Health Care Practitioner, administering medications and obtaining diagnostic tests in accordance with orders and protocols. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols, including proper safety techniques, procedures and standard precautions. Respond to patient crises as set forth by site policy and procedure, and assist Health Care Practitioner in medical procedures as necessary. Document nursing encounters using SOAP form of charting, attend mandatory staff meetings and training, and communicate information to relevant staff members as necessary. Additional Details Every Other Weekend Every Weekend - 8am - 430pm Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification. This position is available only to those who reside in the United States. ER Nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained. We are seeking candidates that are able to remain calm under pressure, display sound decision-making skills and be attentive to patient needs. Education of patient’s family and other health care team members is provided by the RN, incorporating health maintenance, disease process and discharge planning. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or state approved school of Nursing.
