Screens for sick call, administers medications, and provides first aid and basic life support to patients and employees as needed. The wage employment period resets on May 1 of the following year. All wage employees are limited to working no more than 29 hours per week on average over the 12-month period. This wage position offers no state benefits. This position is currently approved for a temporary enhanced hourly rate due to critical staffing needs at designated facilities. The enhanced rate will remain in effect only while the facility is experiencing critical staffing shortages.
