Job Opportunity: LPN Charge Nurse ***New Grads Welcome!*** Starting Pay: Competitive rates up to $37 per hour, based on experience Differentials Offered: Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts Weekend Differential: $1.50 for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours Responsibilities : The LPN Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing nursing services for assigned residents. This includes adhering to quality care standards, facility policies, legal requirements, medical practices, and physician instructions. Key Duties: Efficiently plans and provides professional care while aligning with the needs of residents and the changing medical landscape. Maintains professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff. Documents crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively. Administers prescribed medications and oversees accurate record-keeping in line with facility policies. Requirements: Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse). In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Collaborative team player with previous experience in long-term care preferred. Additional Expectations: All LPN positions require weekend on-call availability to support both staff and residents. Compensation details available upon inquiry. Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
