SUMMARY The Supervisor, LPN/LVN manages the LPN/LVN staff and the administration of medications, performance of physicals, provision of treatments, and scheduling of medical appointments in collaboration with a Registered Nurse ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: Manages direct care staff providing services to clients. Monitors budgets for assigned areas. Manages activities to ensure financial goals are met. Monitors budget variances and implements corrective action plans as needed. Performs other related duties and activities as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directs and supervises assigned staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and training. Make decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolves employee problems within position responsibilities. SUMMARY To give direct nursing care for patients under the supervision of the Professional Nurse.
