For Magnet designated RN positions, BSN or higher level nursing degree is required for incumbents based upon previously established parameters; or within three 3 years of placement in position for incumbents who started after 07 01 2020. Our patients are babies needing advanced care for prematurity, whole body cooling, surgery, hypoglycemia, sepsis, and more. Our NICU is a regional transport center for ill newborns. General Summary Provides supervision of the daily operations and work activities of professional nursing and ancillary services staff on assigned unit. Able to support ongoing operations of department/unit independently as needed. Provides direct patient care as required.
