Clinical Care The Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient and family needs throughout the disease process as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team. The NP/PA provides optimal patient care in inpatient, ambulatory, and outpatient settings, from diagnostic through prognostic management.
