What You’ll Do Day-to-Day As an Ageless Provider, you’ll serve as a trusted clinician for patients pursuing lasting improvements in their health and vitality. You’ll lead patient evaluations, manage treatment plans, and oversee the delivery of safe, evidence-based therapies that produce measurable results. Daily responsibilities include: Conducting new patient consultations, reviewing medical histories, and performing physical assessments. Ordering, reviewing, and interpreting lab work and diagnostic tests to inform individualized treatment plans. Prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and related medications. Overseeing the administration of weight management treatments , including GLP-1 medications , and monitoring patient progress. Providing clinical oversight for nursing staff performing blood draws, IV therapy, and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections. Reviewing and signing off on patient charts, treatment documentation, and lab results in the EMR. Ensuring compliance with all state and federal medical regulations, safety standards, and internal protocols. Educating patients about hormone optimization, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to enhance results. Collaborating closely with the medical director and clinical leadership to maintain consistent, high-quality care across the clinic. Responsibilities Responsibilities: US ONCOLOGY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for individual patients • Initiates and documents appropriate interventions; evaluates and records patient/family response within practice protocol; prescribes drug therapies per protocol/physician consultation • Assists physicians and performs procedures as needed • Assesses patient/family needs and provides education • Promotes wellness and recommends community resources to meet patient and family needs • Incorporates evidence-based research into clinical practice • Knowledgeable of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements • Completes patient charge tickets • Provides case management for oncology clients and their families • Serves as a resource person for the nursing staff by providing information being studied in clinical trials • May supervise the activities of clinical nursing CCCN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conducts comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of oncology/hematology patients with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems • Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, other health professionals and health related agencies • Oversee treatment infusions and supportive care needs • Write specific orders within the limits of the practice agreement/scope of practice including chemotherapy • Follow ethical principles regarding patient confidentiality, informed consent and unanticipated adverse outcomes • Maintain clinical documentation according to practice guidelines and standards • Participate in education of students, new APPs, and other health care professionals • Participate in organizational and departmental meetings, educational opportunities, committees and workgroups as necessary • Active engagement and promotion of CCCN research program Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: APRN: Successful completion of Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program Nationally certified as AGNP, ANP, FNP, AGNP, or GNP Active State of Nevada Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Registered Nurse (RN) license PA-C: Successful completion of a course of training in residence as a physician assistant approved by one of the following entities affiliated with the American Medical Association or its successor organization: The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or is successor organization The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or is successor organization The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program or its successor organization The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistants or its successor organization Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or its successor organization PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Two or more years of clinical experience in outpatient oncology setting as an APP AOCNP certification (Once eligible, obtainment of AOCNP certification required) PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
