Maintain specialty certification and license-specific competencies. Complete practice guidelines with supervision physician Acute Care Nurse Practitioners Manage acutely ill patients and respond to urgent clinical needs. Formulate and adjust care plans under physician supervision. Provide care for patients with acute and chronic conditions. Critical Care Nurse Practitioners Perform advanced procedures including central line placement, arterial catheter insertion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Provide patient and family support during critical illness. Maintain division-specific competencies. Participate in telemedicine ICU (eICU) rotation.
