Summary The Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology is seeking a qualified candidate for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position in an inpatient hematology role at the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center at Baylor College of Medicine in the Texas Medical Center. This position is open to either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). The APP will provide medical care to patients with hematologic disorders in the inpatient setting under the direction of a supervising physician. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate clinical excellence, scholarly enthusiasm, and a track record of high-quality clinical performance. Job Purpose The Inpatient Hematology APP will provide advanced clinical care for hospitalized patients with hematologic disorders in collaboration with attending hematologists, hematology-oncology fellows, and the multidisciplinary inpatient care team. The Clinician provides comprehensive reproductive healthcare services to patients at Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas (PPGT).
