The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Intensive Care Unit is a state of the art 24 bed academic program led by 11 neurointensivists, 15 APPs, and 5-6 Neuro critical care fellows with additional resident support from Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Anesthesia. Patient management is multidisciplinary in conjunction with members of neurosurgery, neurology, vascular neurology, specially trained RNs, dedicated respiratory therapists and PharmD as well as others. Our multidisciplinary program dedicated to treating patients with acute neurological diseases, include acute ischemic stroke, ICH, SAH, subdural hematoma, status epilepticus, and meningitis, as well as many other neurological diseases and disorders.
