Individualize care according to age specific population. General: a. Function as an intake/discharge nurse during clinic times. b. Foster continuity of care between the Wound Care Department and caretaker (home, hospital, home health, etc.). c. Prepare clinic records to enable accurate and complete updates to the physician. d. Assist others within the clinic. e. Maintain an open, professional communication line with patients, physicians, and staff. f. Safely operate all clinical equipment. g. Utilize appropriate infection control procedures. h. Maintain skills and knowledge through training and continuing education. Complete mandatory education requirements. Attend staff meetings and in-services. i. Monitor the condition of equipment and report malfunctions to the Supervisor or Director. Performs other related duties as assigned.
