The program is one of only two in the country offering bloodless bone marrow transplant to Jehovah's Witnesses with lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other blood cancers. Cedars-Sinai Blood and Marrow Transplant program ranks in the Top 10 in the U.S. for patient survival. The program’s one-year allogeneic transplant survival results are higher than the expected rate, with superior outcomes. Essential Duties: Evaluation and Management: Handle the evaluation and management of Hematology/Cellular Therapy patients undergoing treatment with bispecifics, CAR T-cell therapy, and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) in the Outpatient Cellular Therapy Unit. Symptom Triage and Management: Conduct symptom triage and management, oversee outpatient care, and facilitate inpatient admissions when appropriate. This includes managing side effects, toxicities, and providing supportive care in the infusion center. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about diagnoses and treatment plans. Telephone Triage: Manage patient inquiries and provide guidance over the phone. Fast Track Care: Coordinate fast track care processes for efficient patient management. Qualifications Education (NP): Master of Nursing Degree. Graduate of an accredited Nurse practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered. Education (PA-C): Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required. Bachelor's degree Experience Requirements: A minimum of two (2) years of inpatient experience as an NP/PA with a focus on malignant hematology, including Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and CAR T therapy.
