Job Summary POSITION IS BONUS ELIGIBLE Responsible for delivering professional nursing services, either directly or indirectly, for a defined group of patients according to emergency department and hospital policy. Respond to cases of cardiopulmonary arrest, fire, disaster or other emergencies in accordance with established procedures. Perform assessments and develop an individualized plan of care for geriatric patients. Maintain patient’s medical records in an orderly manner and document all care provided and significant information, legibly, accurately and completely. Assume resource nurse responsibilities when necessary. Assume responsibility for own professional development, setting goals and striving to achieve them through available resources, such as attending seminars, in services and/or reading journals. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Requirements Graduation from an accredited nursing program in Nursing and a minimum of one year’s job-related experience or equivalent is required.
