Overview Collaborates with the Emergency Department Staff, Medical Staff, and Clinical Assessment Team to provide direct care for Emergency Department psychiatric patients and admitted medically ill patients with behavioral health needs to include facilitating social and emotional needs, collaborating with Emergency Department staff, medical staff and physicians on medication schedules and evaluating patient progress. Overview The Intermediate Surgical Care Unit (ISCU) provides specialized care for post-operative surgical patients requiring a level of support between intensive care and acute care. RN - NICU

Overview DCH Health System is proud to offer Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Service at both our Regional and Northport Campuses. We specialize in the critical care of neonates and infants in our 21 bed unit at DCH Regional and 18 bed unit at Northport Medical Center. Our team of Neonatologists , Neonatal nurse practitioners, Neonatal nursing staff, NICU dedicated Respiratory Therapist, and NICU dedicated pharmacist provide in house care 24-7. We support a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care that also includes speech therapist, lactation consultants, child life therapists, and social workers. Our RN staff are especially skilled in the assessment and treatment of infants with complex, multisystem dysfunction. Our nurse to patient ratio is usually 1:2 or 1:3 depending on the acuity of the patient. They practice family-centered rounding to provide support and education so that families understand the needs for their baby. Overview The NMC Intensive Care Unit provides care for adult surgical, medical, and cardiac patients. There are 8 beds in the unit and all are visible from the centrally located nurse’s station. Our nurses get the opportunity to hone and showcase their critical nursing skills in a smaller facility that allows for the close-knit community flair. Registered Nurses provide primary care with a ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 based on patient acuity. Our RNs also provide house wide Rapid Response and Code Blue Team coverage.
