The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a 14-bed critical care unit providing care for patients who are recovering from surgery. How the Perioperative Explore Program works: Complete learning experiences in our pre-operative, operative, and recovery units. This immersive program provides hands-on training alongside an experienced nurse preceptor. Participate in weekly discussions, simulations, or educational meetings. At completion of the program, the licensed RN will be hired full-time into an available open position in either Preadmission, Operating Room, Post Surgery or Gastroenterology (GI).
