The CVOR RN demonstrates specialized knowledge of complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures, advanced surgical technology, patient safety principles, and perioperative nursing practice while exercising sound clinical judgment and critical thinking in a high-acuity surgical setting. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, professional nursing standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
