Overview: Join the dedicated Labor & Delivery team at Piedmont Walton, where compassionate care and clinical excellence go hand in hand. Our 7-bed unit, with an integrated OR and PACU, supports 30-40 deliveries each month and provides comprehensive care for a wide range of patients and obstetric needs-from triage and labor to surgical delivery, recovery, postpartum, newborn nursery, and gynecologic care. Our team thrives on strong prioritization, professionalism, and collaboration to provide safe, patient-centered care. Staffing ratios are thoughtfully guided by patient acuity and volume: 1:1 in active labor and OR/recovery, 2:1 for patients on magnesium therapy, and 3:1 for couplet care. These services are performed in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director. Qualifications 1. Must hold a current and unencumbered Registered Nursing License in the state which you intend to work.2. Must be organized, detail-oriented and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing. 3. RN must understand the issues related to the delivery of home health care and be able to problem-solve effectively. 4. Ability to assume a flexible work schedule. Requirements :1. Some details about this position: No Dialysis experience is required, however it is preferred. Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic Float to various clinics during and after your training You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday What you can expect: Build meaningful and long term relationships with patients and their family in an intimate outpatient setting. Be a part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment. Deliver care to patients who are often dealing with multiple co-morbidities which require unique treatment plans and the ability to leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge. Oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats and machine set up. You will work with your head, heart and hands each day in a fast paced environment.
