How you make a difference As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility is to provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary. Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed. Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training. Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or other staff as necessary. Additional Details Deadline to apply to this position is April 22nd, 2026. Job Description The Skilled Nursing Registered Nurse RN provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service plan and physician’s orders. Responsible for the delivery of quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. Compensation: $48-$50/hr Schedule: Part-Time Day Shift Every Wednesday or Friday What will I do every day? You will monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in condition Effectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basis Assess residents to identify their physical, psycho social and environmental needs Communicate, identify, report and document problems Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately Identify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the resident Document evaluation f nursing interventions including resident response Assess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plans Provide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living Director Assist with Medication Management Program Participate in the Assisted Living performance improvement process Present required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associates As well as perform other related duties as required What will I need to be successful in this role? One-year or more experience as a nurse in a senior care setting preferred Assisted living and/or dementia experience preferred Hands on experience with ports and Huber needles a plus Experience in wound care Hands on experience with Dialysis shunts a plus Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
