Unit Overview : The Interventional Cardiac Progressive Care Unit serves a wide range of cardiac patients including Heart failure, renal failure, COPD and interventional cardiac unit. As a PCU nurse on this unit, you will care for complex acutely ill patients. You will monitor critical vital signs and detect changes in patient condition, working with the care team to provide interventions and promote healing. Additional specialty training is required for this specific patient population. POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.
