The RN2 is responsible for assessing physical and psychosocial status of patients in an outpatient clinic setting by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies. Assist physicians in performing medical procedures, up to and including blood drawing, vital signs and nursing assessments, history and physical. This position requires travel to multiple clinic locations. Assesses assigned patients and evaluates plans to include documentation of nursing care. Responsible for calling patients with results and physician instructions as well as pre-visit phone calls with the patients. Assists with clinic equipment and supply orders as needed. Works with other clinical and non-clinical members of the Executive Health team to deliver high-quality care to our patients. Interact with high profile patients in a professional demeanor. Experience in ambulatory nursing preferred. Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred. Operates appropriate medical equipment used in practice. Effective communication skills, solid customer service skills, and prompt responsiveness are essential in the role. Adapts to changing work demands and environment.
