We are seeking a dedicated Afterhours RN Care Manager to provide high-quality, compassionate hospice care outside standard business hours. This role ensures seamless coverage, continuity of care, and strong clinical management for patients and families during nights, weekends, and on-call hours. About the Role The Afterhours Care Manager RN is responsible for assessing and coordinating patient and family needs during after-hours shifts and maintaining primary clinical oversight for assigned patients. About the unit 1E is a 20 bed Med/Surg unit at Blodgett Hospital. Nurses enjoy working on 1E as you are able to become an expert in so many areas since we care for a wide variety of diagnosis. Some of the patients we care for are those with Respiratory illnesses, Acute Kidney Injuries, DKA, Septic Shock and many more. We also have a surgical population of Mastectomy patients and Thyroidectomy patients. In addition to some of the above stated items, 1E also uses Endotool which is our continuous insulin drip program and utilizes cardiac drips.
