Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care is responsible for providing comprehensive wound, skin, ostomy, continence, and specialty tube care services for patients across the hospital. Preferred Qualifications • Acute care wound care experience. • Experience with pressure injury prevention programs, skin integrity initiatives, and quality improvement activities. • Experience with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), specialty support surfaces, and advanced wound care modalities. • Previous experience participating in prevalence studies, regulatory readiness activities, and performance improvement initiatives. Certification Requirements • Wound Care Certification (WOCN, CWOCN, CWON, WCC, or equivalent) preferred upon hire. • Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) Certification required within one (1) year of hire.
