Clinical Nursing Supervisor

GENERAL STATEMENT The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the clinical experiences for student Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) candidates. This individual will provide on-site supervision for all pre-nursing students during their clinical rotations, collaborate with classroom instructors and clinical sites to schedule student clinical hours, and meet regularly with Therapeutic Pathway - PreNursing classroom teachers to review student progress and provide in-class supports as needed. The supervisor will also ensure that both didactic and clinical objectives align with the requirements of the Connecticut State Board of Nursing. REPORTS TO: Director of Career & Community Learning LOCATION: District MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and evaluate students during clinical experiences. Ensure that students complete the required clinical and instructional hours in compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintain knowledge of all clinical site requirements and expectations.
