We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Risk & Education to join our leadership team. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities. Review incident reports, identify risk areas, and assist with developing corrective action plans. Conduct clinical audits to ensure accuracy of documentation and adherence to care standards. Assist with survey preparation and regulatory compliance activities. Provide coaching and mentorship to nursing staff to promote professional growth and accountability. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction. Assist with developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures. Qualifications Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state. Previous leadership experience as an ADON, RN Supervisor, Nurse Educator, Infection Preventionist, or similar nursing leadership role preferred. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting preferred. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state requirements, and survey processes. Experience with clinical education, staff development, and quality improvement initiatives. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to analyze clinical data and implement effective improvement strategies. Passion for resident-centered care and developing healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily oversight of nursing services. Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing supervisors, nurses, and nursing assistants.
