ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Completes an initial assessment of client and family to determine home care needs, making necessary revisions per physician orders as status and needs change. · Scope of Practice: The supervising nurse must be able to assess client needs, develop care plans, and provide guidance to personal care providers. · Supervisory Visits: Registered nurses must make on-site supervisory visits to the client's home at least once every three months. The frequency of these visits should be increased if the client's health condition changes significantly, including surgeries or hospital stays. · Home Care Agency: The supervising nurse will be employed by a licensed home care agency. · Supervision and Direction: Supervise and monitor the performance of field employees, ensuring quality healthcare services.
