26003182 Registered Nurse (RN) Surgical Inpatient Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway Frisco, TX 75033 Work hours: Full Time Nights (7p-7a) Weekend and holiday requirements Department Highlights 16-bed Surgical unit – fast paced, quick turnover Experience with tele, surgical preferred - primary surgical unit and take med/surg overflow 1:4 patient ratio, at times 1:5 Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program BSN preferred One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program. One year of Emergency experience strongly preferred 1-2 years charge experience in Medical Surgical preferred RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care BCLS - upon hire - expiration date greater than 3 months preferred ACLS - upon hire required CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 60 days of hire What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers. 26004621 Registered Nurse/RN II – Mother/Baby Full Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Full-Time, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour Night shifts 7pm-7am, including weekends and holidays Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire. Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required 3 years of Mother-Baby/Postpartum experience strongly preferred Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
