The Critical Response Team (CRT) RN role utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to coordinate, delegate, and deliver safe, therapeutic nursing care to patients throughout the hospital. As an emergency responder, this nurse responds alongside the appropriate teams to Rapid Response, Code Blue, Code Stroke, Code Sepsis, Code STEMI, and CRT RN consults, with a primary focus on interdisciplinary collaboration and the delivery of high-quality patient care. In addition, the CRT RN serves as a hospital-wide resource for difficult IV placements and will be trained to place ultrasound-guided IVs. As Holly Springs is a smaller community hospital, this role provides valuable support across departments while bringing the critical thinking skills needed to meet a variety of patient care needs. The Radiology Nurse Navigator will work within the hospital in Heart and Vascular, leading the management and care delivery for radiology patients with an emphasis on prevention, screening, and surveillance of radiology disease alongside Interventional Radiologist and Advanced Practice Providers.
