Job Summary Responsible for directing patient care during surgical procedures according to the AORN standards of care, specifically during the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures. Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under an approved protocol. Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as needed to ensure optimal patient care. Assess patient information; develop plan of care to meet need of patient. Prepare and test equipment in advance of specific surgical procedures.
