Nursing care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment, and will be delivered across the Medical Center as needed. Certification/Licensure: Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas. Current BLS. PALS certification required. Certification as necessary in certain areas in the Medical Center. On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. RN staffing ratio: 1:4 PCT staffing ratio: 1:12 Positions require 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
