Job Overview The Operating Room Nurse Certified provides patient care in a surgical setting in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. The Operating Room at Children’s Hospital Colorado-Colorado Springs is a Level II Trauma Center with 4 OR units and a procedure room that treats children and adolescents. The unit currently supports more than 13 different surgical specialties and performs more than 6,300 cases annually. Our unique yet impressive team is comprised of bachelor’s prepared nurses, certified surgical technicians, anesthesia technicians, anesthesia providers, and surgeons.
