About the unit 9 North Medical is a 35 bed, Medical/Surgical unit. With a diverse patient population, a variety of ailments are seen amongst our patients creating plenty of learning opportunities. With an emphasis on putting patient needs first and strong teamwork, we strive to provide the highest level of care for all our patients, while creating a positive culture for staff to grow and work efficiently within a multidisciplinary care team. Scope of work Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring, to maximize his/her safety. Performs general receptionist and clerical duties to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit. Documentation of care provided in the electronic medical record. ED RN - Weekends Only

We are excited to be offering a Weekend Only Program for RNs! Eligibility: RNs in inpatient nursing settings with 24/7 scheduling are included. 0.9 FTE would work two 12-hour shifts on the weekend and one additional shift during the week. Compensation: RNs will receive an additional $10 per hour plus their base pay. If the RN is a full-time (3)12s a week RN, the stipend will apply to the two shifts on the weekend and not on the third weekday shift. This $10 per hour will be combined with shift differentials as well as other special codes. Scheduling: RNs will be required to work 48 out of 52 weekends per calendar year. Weekends are defined as Friday and Saturday night for night shift. RNs can request up to 48 hours of PTO on their weekend shifts as well as 48 hours of exchanging a weekend shift for a weekday shift, for a total of 96 hours ‘off’ of the weekend requirement. This would be given in accordance with unit guidelines with allotted PTO as well as peak times, etc. RNs may request 1 holiday off per calendar year that falls on the weekend. The RN would only work the holiday if it fell on the weekend, they will not be moved off a weekend to work on a holiday. About the unit Greenville Emergency Department is a community-based hospital that is part of the Corewell Healthcare System. The Greenville ED is a certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IIII Trauma Center. There are over 25 care spaces to treat patients with minor to major medical and traumatic emergencies. Interdisciplinary team members collaborate closely to provide relationship-based care for our patients and their loved ones. Inpatient Rehab Nursing Assistant

About the u nit We are a 64 bed Inpatient Rehab Unit that sees a variety of patients who need to work on both their functional and medical problems. We treat ortho patients recovering from hip fractures, complex knee replacement, back surgery with neurologic involvement, multi-trauma, and other orthopedic issues. We also see neurology patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord tumors, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Parkinson’s, MS, and any cancer diagnosis with functional decline. We also have patients come to our unit who had amputations and other complex medical/surgical issues with functional decline. Patients participate in 15 hours of therapy across the 7-day week. Nursing continues the interventions practiced by the patients in therapy sessions, to continue safe mobility. For many of our patients, Rehab is the key to getting back home with their families. This is a very rewarding unit to work on, as we all get to take part in the progress patients make towards their goal of getting home. Corewell Health is offering up to $10,000 in sign on bonuses for this opportunity! Weekend Option Program: Weekend RNs/LPNs will be required to work 48 out of 52 weekends per calendar year. Weekends are defined as Saturday and Sunday for day shift and Friday and Saturday night for night shift. RNs/LPNs can request up to 48 hours of PTO on their weekend shifts as well as 48 hours of exchanging a weekend shift for a weekday shift, for a total of 96 hours ‘off’ of the weekend requirement. This would be given in accordance with unit guidelines with allotted PTO as well as peak times, etc. RNs/LPNs may request 1 holiday off per calendar year that falls on the weekend.
