The program was created as an alternative to and diversion from Emergency Psychiatric Services (EPS), acute psychiatric hospitalization, and incarceration. The program provides longer-term mental health recovery services 24/7/365 within a supportive, structured, and secure inpatient environment designed to help clients prepare to move to the community and/or lower levels of care. Shifts Available: Short Hour: Fri - Sat Expected starting wage range is $50.96 - $62.96. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. POSITION SUMMARY Implements and supervises the overall direct nursing care provided by the nursing department on their designated shift. Under general supervision, provides program planning development, review and evaluation of clinical and administrative activities; uses critical thinking and independent judgement to direct, coordinate and oversee the nursing and other health care services of a program to clients across the age spectrum and / or targeted populations; supervises an assigned multidisciplinary team including professional, para-professional support staff, nursing students and interns; assigns direct report employees to work with clients according to client needs and the skills and strengths of individual team members. QUALIFICATIONS Required: · Two (2) years of psychiatric direct care nursing experience and at least two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role.
