Job Overview This position is a .75 FTE (60 hours per 2 week pay period). This position works 12 hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, on the overnight shift. Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac/Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit at our M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. As a Registered Nurse on the Cardiac/Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit, you will provide care to patients 18 years and older with moderate to potentially severe physiologic instability requiring frequent nursing assessment and intervention every 1 to 2 hours. About our Cardiac/Respiratory IMC Department at UMMC East Bank: The Cardiac/Respiratory IMC is a 22 bed unit. The nurse patient ratio is a mix of 1:2 and 1:3 on all shifts. Patients require cardiac monitoring and some form of respiratory support, up to and including mechanical ventilation. Common patient populations include, but are not limited to, post-op transplant, acute and chronic respiratory failure, sepsis, end-stage organ failure, cardiac complications (titratable cardiac drips, ventricular assist device), cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. Job Overview Fairview is looking for an upbeat and energetic Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department at Fairview Ridges Hospital located in Burnsville, MN. The hospital is just 20 minutes south of Minneapolis, MN near the 35E and 35 W conjunctions! It has been providing state-of-the art care and community services to the residents of the scenic Minnesota Valley since 1984. Our ED is a Level 3 Trauma Center. We have 45 beds and a yearly census of approximately 67,000 and growing! Team members include Board Certified Emergency Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, ER Techs, Health Unit Coordinators, transport, mental health associates and Case Managers. Emergency Department Registered Nurses provide emergency nursing care for a diversified population of all age distributions (infant to geriatrics) and all problem types in a very lively Emergency Room. The Fairview Ridges ER processes 72,000 cases per year, with an average of 203 patients seen daily. The position duties include assessment, care planning, interventions, and instructing. New positions added due to volumes/growth. The patient population served by the Emergency Department consists of newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients requiring or seeking medical care. Job Overview Fairview is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at our Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. Woodwinds Health Campus opened its 86-bed hospital in August 2000. Located on 30 acres of pristine wetlands in Woodbury, MN, it’s the only hospital in the southeast metro area.
