Clinical Nurse Manager-Cardiac/Stroke/Tele

$48.93 - $75.84 / hour

Hourly Pay Range: $48.93 - $75.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Clinical Nurse Manager, Cardiac/Stroke/Tele Location: Evanston Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hours: Days with rotating hours Required Travel: Ability to travel to other sites as needed What you will need: License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree in Nursing, Business or a Healthcare related discipline preferred. Certification: BLS/CPR certification required Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant clinical setting required. Previous management experience preferred with demonstrated progressive clinical leadership. Skills: Acute care inpatient Medical Oncology experience preferred. Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively. What you will do: Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for the professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit. Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies. Create a departmental environment that is therapeutic which promotes engagement with our nursing and multidisciplinary teams. Establishes constructive partnerships with peers to promote loyalty for patients, families, nursing, physicians, and employees. Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience. Leads unit and department quality initiatives using research and evidence-based practice. Promotes the development of critical thinking skills of all unit personnel through appreciate inquiry. Creates and maintains a supportive, resilient, and healthy work environment. Advances practice through the development of innovations and change principles.
