This is a full time day shift position that will float between 4 of our main hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas. Hours of shift may vary between 8, 10 or 12 hours based on organizational needs. Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance. Part Time Days 24 hours per week. This position provides specialized care for women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections, and other urogynecologic conditions. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 4x10 hours shifts with one day off during the week. No weekend and no Holiday obligations. Position Summary This position is accountable for advanced clinical practice in the care of patients with urogynecologic conditions. Responsibilities include obtaining and analyzing patient histories, performing comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, coordinating care, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The APP will: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pelvic floor and lower urinary tract disorders. Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations. Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices. Coordinate care across specialties and healthcare settings. Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies. Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and preventative care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support best practices in patient care. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
