Description Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Sun Valley, CA Schedule: 9 hours per week within operating hours of 7:00 am to Noon BAART Treatment Centers are dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support and medical services. Primary Job Function: Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment. To obtain a history and physical exam. Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription To authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence. Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses. Description Full Time Dispensing Nurse – LPN/LVN Health Care Resource Centers i s looking for a detail oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse to dispense prescribed medications as part of a treatment team in partnership with Physicians and Nursing Supervisors. The dispensing nurse also shares responsibility of maintaining dispensing equipment, managing medication inventory and reporting patient treatment information. An ideal dispensing nurse candidate works cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrates a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the Substance Use Disorder . Responsibilities: Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols . Us e automated dispensing system (s) , calibrate pump and maintain dispensing equipment Produce and maintain appropriate records and reports as required by C ompany protocol , Federal and State Regulations Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as set forth in the Code of Federal regulations Order, receive and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations. (If granted Power of Attorney) Provide daily assessment of patients Assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff Other related duties as determined by supervisor Qualifications: Current & good standing LPN /LVN license in the State of New Hampshire Current CPR certification required EMR & computer proficiency desired Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated and directed, must have a positive attitude towa rd individuals in substance abuse treatment . Description Lead Dispensing Nurse for MAT Clinic BAART Programs is looking for an effective Nurse Leader that has a distinct set of personal qualities: integrity, empathy, dedication to excellence, and an ability to handle stress. The lead nurse works in partnership with the Nurse Supervisor, Program/Medical Director, to ensure the delivery of adequate and qualitative level of nursing coverage for all program and dispensing and medical operations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure that Physician’s medication orders are enacted meeting time expectations, includes delivery to outside facilities Responsible for Medical Services to be in compliance with Federal and state regulations Delegates tasks to certified nursing assistants, medication technicians, or an unlicensed person who is competent to perform those tasks. Communicates and collaborates with the Nursing Supervisor regarding potential issues. Schedule / Participate in Treatment Teams, Panel Review, Department Head and General Staff meetings Nursing team management - time clock edits as necessary, develop and manage schedules, conduct performance improvement activities, and prepare monthly reports Review and Resolve client clinical complaints; intervene in crisis situations Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications: Licensed in AZ as Registered Nurse (RN) with 3-5 years’ experience. Prior experience in substance abuse, mental health treatment, or addiction medicine preferred Accuracy of record keeping with understanding of HIPAA, Federal, State & CARF standards & regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Fundamental knowledge of professional nursing principles, techniques, basic addiction medicine science, and of community health and welfare resources Ability to carry out written and oral instructions; to exercise judgment in the application of nursing care; to accept and use supervision; to work cooperatively with people; to maintain an objective attitude; to exercise tact and initiative; to stimulate patients and families to constructive actions; to grasp and apply the basic principles of administration and operation of a health program and to communicate effectively.
