Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Qualifications: Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry. Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions. Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Provides instruction, information, and counseling to patients and their families as needed. Distributes educational material as appropriate. Maintains medication and nursing documentation within the patient record. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and development levels of patients served.
