Minimum Education/Experience Required: Current licensure in the State of Ohio or if working in WV will need a WV license as a Registered Nurse. BLS and annual stroke education certification required upon hire. ACLS, PALS and TNCC required within 1 year of employment. ASLS certification preferred upon hire. Stroke Education is required during orientation, and may include, but not limited to, access to stroke policies, completion of on-line stroke module education, NIHSS, ASLS & T-PA administration. In the general care area, 45 rooms are fully equipped with critical care monitoring capabilities. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity . You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area. A staff nurse is a registered professional nurse (RN) who manages patient centered care that is outcome directed.
